Free Internet Access
Both locations (Fort Branch and Haubstadt) offer free access to the internet on in-house public computers. Both locations also offer free 24/7 wireless (WiFi) internet access which can be accessed inside and from our parking lots.
Go to your device’s network or Wi-Fi settings.
Connect to the network labeled accordingly:
Fort Branch: “FBPL-Guest-Wifi”
Haubstadt: “HPL-Guest-WiFi”
No password is required at either location.
Wait for a window to pop up (you might have to open a web browser). The page will be titled “Welcome to _____” and will list our Terms and Conditions for Wi-Fi users.
Scroll to the bottom and click “Continue to the Internet”.
Once the window says it is safe, you may close out of it. Now you should be connected to our Wi-Fi network.
NOTE: You will have to repeat this process each time you come back to the library after leaving the premises.
